Often referred to as the "crown jewel of Greece,” Santorini continues to be one of the most popular destinations in the country. Santorini has some of the most unique geographical characteristics of any other island in the world - it was literally formed by a series of catastrophic volcanic explosions over the course of thousands of years. The result is a wonderland of steep cliffs, ebony volcanic rocks and mesmerizing ocean views. If you like beer, why not stop by the Donkey Brewery for a quick tour and delicious sampling of their products. For centuries, the island has been a prominent producer of wine, but with a little entrepreneurial spirit, Donkey Brewery was born. The three brews, Yellow, Red, and Crazy, have caught the attention of local and international beer enthusiasts alike. Donkey beers have now become some of the most sought-after brews in Greece.

Half day Santorini tour (approx. 4hrs)
Explore Santorini on this 4-hour tour of the island with your English speaking guide. Visually, Santorini is the most spectacular of the isles in the Cyclades. With its brilliant flooded caldera, high cliffs and charming villages, it is the Greek Isle of everyone’s dreams. This tour will take you to Santorini’s highest peak, crowned by the Mount Profitis Ilias Monastery. At 883 feet, Mt. Profitis Ilias rugged landscape is largely composed of volcanic rocks as a result of hundreds of eruptions during the last two million years, some of them being large caldera-forming events. Here, in this remote spot, you’ll have an ideal photo opportunity to capture the beauty of this ancient island. Discover the village of Pyrgos, which was the capital of Santorini until 1800. Here you’ll be able to admire the beautiful old houses and the Venetian Fortress crowned by several churches. The other part of the tour will take us to one of the island’s most famous traditional wineries. Viniculture is an ancient art in Santorini, and the fact that vines thrive at all is amazing considering the fact that the island has limited water resources. But the volcanic soil is an excellent medium for producing grapes, especially the Assyrtiko grape – a rare, white variety. After your visit, you’ll drive through the countryside to visit Oia. This traditional Greek village of whitewashed cubes is perched impossibly high on cliffs at the northwest tip of the island. Here, take in the stunning views of the island from one of the charming cafes or stroll above the rooftops of the homes carved into the cliffs and gaze into the deep blue waters of the caldera far below. You will return to your hotel, where the balance of the day is at leisure.
Breakfast at the hotel. Your morning is free for independent activities.
Santorini: Sunset Catamaran Dinner Cruise (shared)
This afternoon you will be transferred from your hotel in Santorini to Vlihada Marina (in the south of the island) to join the catamaran cruise. The first stop will be at the red beach for swimming, which is arguably one of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Santorini. The small size of the beach creates a much crowded atmosphere and there are many days where most of the visitors choose not to make it all the way down to the beach and instead admire this unique landscape of red and black volcanic rocks from the headland. Your next stop will be at the white beach for swimming and snorkeling. Snorkeling is ideal for those who would like to explore and get a feel of the underwater world of Santorini. Your evening continues while you sail along Akrotiri and Aspronissi, and reach the hot springs. Here you can swim and enjoy a mud bath. Your cruise this evening includes dinner, which will be served on board. The tour ends at Amoudi Bay, where a mini bus will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. (Approx. 5 hours)
